Philip Alford joined VFA in 2023 and serves as an Investment Advisor Representative and Financial Planner. Prior to joining the firm, Philip also worked with Edward Jones as a financial advisor and Fidelity Investments as an investment consultant. Philip holds a Bachelor of General Studies from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he graduated in 2015 with a focus in Business and Biblical Studies. He also attained the designation of CFP® practitioner in 2022.

Philip and his wife, Allison, have a heart for discipleship and evangelism and are very involved in their local congregation at Redeemer Community Church in Johnson City, TN. They greatly enjoy hosting their Community Group in their home and spending time in nature with their dogs.
